FORM G10 – MECHANICAL VENTILATION

The Board of Architects Malaysia (LAM) has been made aware of instances where Professional Engineers have declined to sign Form G10 (Mechanical Ventilation) and instead requested the Architect, as Principal Submitting Person (PSP), to endorse it as “Not Applicable,” even in projects where mechanical ventilation systems are clearly provided. Some Engineers have limited their certification to basement ventilation systems, citing guidelines issued by the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM)
